Cibutex Impact Meet at SaXcell

May 7, 2026

Impact Meet

In order to accelerate the textile transiition and all processes that contribute to it, Cibuitex has set out to organize short, focused sessions with a clear and concrete goal. On May 7, 2026, a group of around 10 Cibutex members gathered at SaXcell in Enschede to excchange views and create ideas about the business case of recycled content. More concrete: what needs to be done to upscale the production of SaXcells proprietary fibre (SaXcell pulp), that contains 30% textile waste. There are concrete plans to improve and expand the production of this material. The question of the day was: how do we upscale the commercial volume of the end products made with this material, at the same pace.

Cibutex Acceleration Plan

We will publish the findings of the meeting in our ‘Cibutex Acceleration Plan’ and make it available on our website. Stay tuned!
